[Somebody's been drinking and self-loathing in his apartment alone.]
It's kind of ironic, you know? I did the job and that was supposed to be that. No more for ol' Lorne here.
[A pause for another chug, and then a deep sigh.]
But here I am, in my empty apartment, trying to be chipper and cheery! And here all of you are again. I did my job; I killed that poor man for you and then I ran like I ran from Pylea.
[The sound of gulping can be heard now, along with the empty bottle thudding when it hits the floor. A seal can be heard cracking open on a new bottle.]
Happy, City? You brought me here, threw me in a dark dank cell, you forced me to confess my sin to you and now there's no point in hiding it from everyone else! Lindsey was sometimes a jackass but he was a person. And now he's dead because of me.
[Lorne is feeling the effects of the weekend and his own personal guilt over shooting Lindsey for Angel. Also he's not actually drunk but it still helps him pretend.]
